Who is The Skin Nutrition Library for?

The Skin Nutrition Library is literally for anyone, anywhere. If you're someone who is overwhelmed by the massive amount of nutrition information out there, are not sure if it's trustworthy, want to support or improve the health of your skin, with a focus on the health of your gut, then The Skin Nutrition Library is right for you.

How do I know that the information posted is science-based and trusted?

Laura King, DAc, LAc, RDN, LDN, the founder of The Skin Nutrition Library, is a Doctor of Chinese Medicine and has been a Licensed and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for 20 years. In addition to the breadth of her own knowledge that she contributes to the Library, she offers content curated from a variety of resources with which she has experience and trust. References and links to these resources are provided within each topic.

I have an idea for a topic, or a question, will it make the library?

We would love it if you shared your ideas and questions with us, we're always interested in how we can add to the current topics in the library. Please fill out our Contact form and provide us your topics and/or questions. We will either answer you directly or include your topic in our weekly content updates!

What if I'm not satisfied with my membership?

We would love feedback if you are not satisfied with The Skin Nutrition Library. We do not offer refunds on memberships, however you may cancel your membership at anytime.

What types of meal plans are available on the Library?

We offer meal plans specific to a well-balanced and holistic way of eating. They are consistent with the Mediterranean diet. We also offer vegetarian and vegan meal plans. The calorie levels of each meal plan varies. If you feel you need a more specific calorie level, or ideas on how to change the calorie/macros of a meal plan, please reach out and let us know!

I'm interested in scheduling an appointment with Laura for Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, and/or Nutrition services, how do I do that?

Thank you for your interest! Our Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine services are offered in-person, and our offices are in Marriottsville and Woodbine/Lisbon Maryland.
